IPM BIOTECH is dedicated to the development, validation and application of innovative methods in molecular and immunological bioanalysis including immunogenicity.

IPM BIOTECH has been involved in numerous pre-clinical and clinical studies in which assays were performed for pk/pD analysis and for the detection of binding and neutralizing antibodies against biopharmaceuticals. In this context assays have been established and validated for the detection of antibodies against endogenous components (e.g. erythropoietin, interferon, G-CSF) and monoclonal therapeutics (e.g. anti-CD20, TNF-inhibitors) using a wide spectrum of methods.

Looking at immunogenicity not only means analyzing antibodies but also paying attention to the potency of biopharmaceuticals, the mode of action, the pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics of biopharmaceuticals.

Within this context, at IPM BIOTECH in vitro assays have been developed for the measurement of cytotoxicity of monoclonal therapeutic antibodies (ADCC and CDC).

PCR array based methods have been established for the determination of gene expression analysis after drug treatment.
